At ITC 2025, Telemetry & Communications Systems (TCS) demonstrated the power of pairing its Model 1800 antenna with the ACU-M4LR Antenna Control Unit, a fully integrated, high-precision telemetry tracking solution built for today’s demanding range environments.
The live demo, led by TCS’s David Bendrihem, showcased how this setup was custom-engineered forEdwards Air Force Base to enable simultaneous tracking of three antennas across multiple mission zones. The Model 1800, known for its superior pointing accuracy, rugged pedestal design, and smooth motion performance, was shown in action alongside downrange pan-tilt systems, all synchronized through the ACU-M4LR’s intuitive touchscreen interface.
With real-time video feeds from each antenna, operators could monitor and control six-foot and downrange units seamlessly from a single console. The ACU-M4LR integrates sophisticated tracking algorithms with user-friendly controls, reducing operator workload while preserving expert-level precision.
Together, the Model 1800 antenna and ACU-M4LR exemplify TCS’s commitment to reliable, mission-proven telemetry systems, supporting flight test, launch, and range operations where accuracy, responsiveness, and system interoperability are critical.
Each ITC station was paired with an interactive touchscreen display designed to give attendees a deeper look into the technologies behind every demo. These touchscreens provided a guided walk-through of each system’s components, showcased top products, and highlighted key advantages from the company.
