DIS Support Edwards AFB & Northrop Grumman Corporation on the B-21

Delta Information Systems is thrilled to support the flight test program at Edwards Air Force Base and Northrop Grumman Corporation in their groundbreaking efforts with the B-21 bomber. Recently, the U.S. Air Force released new images of the B-21 in flight, showcasing significant milestones in its testing phase at Edwards AFB. Since its first flight on November 10, the B-21 has completed multiple test flights, with key highlights captured on January 17 and April 4. These images, released as Congress reviews the Pentagon’s fiscal 2025 budget, underline the B-21’s advanced design features, such as its unique beak-like nose and enhanced aerodynamic performance.

Andrew Hunter, the Air Force’s assistant secretary of acquisition said in testimony, “We are in the flight test program. The flight test program is proceeding well. It is doing what flight test programs are designed to do, which is helping us learn about the unique characteristics of this platform, but in a very, very effective way.”
