AMPEX Awarded Four Year IDIQ Contract

Ampex Data Systems, a Delta Information Systems Company, has announced their award of a four year IDIQ Contract valued at $1.9M, with an initial delivery order for $1M from Naval Air Warfare Center, Lakehurst, NJ. Ampex will supply up to 150 ECDL Combined Data Downloader Units under this contract. Ampex was selected for this contract being the  manufacturer of the Network File Server (NFS) used on the E-2D Aircraft. The combined data downloader allows two different types of removable storage media from the Ampex NFS to be quickly and efficiently transferred to other off-aircraft systems.
