GDP ITC 2025 | Model 4455 Digital RF Receiver Demo
At ITC 2025, Joe Deschamp, GDP’s Engineering Manager, introduced the company’s new Model 4455 Digital RF Receiver, a ground-up redesign of GDP’s legacy receiver platform—developed to deliver exceptional ease of use, performance, and reliability for modern telemetry applications.
Joe walked attendees through the 4455’s intuitive front-panel interface, designed so that 99% of receiver setup can be completed with just three primary parameters: modulation type, bit rate, and center frequency. Users can quickly configure the receiver for SOQPSK, PCM/FM, Multi-H, or STC modes, streamlining setup without sacrificing control.
The demo highlighted how both input channels and the combiner are visible at a glance, providing instant insight into signal activity and status. Operators can easily view both Receiver Input 1 and Receiver Input 2 simultaneously, allowing rapid assessment of link performance and signal redundancy.
While the receiver’s interface is built for simplicity, Joe emphasized that advanced parameters remain fully accessible for users who require deeper configuration and fine-tuning. This balance between streamlined operation and full customization makes the Model 4455 ideal for both range operators and engineering teams managing multi-link telemetry environments.

Each ITC station was paired with an interactive touchscreen display designed to give attendees a deeper look into the technologies behind every demo. These touchscreens provided a guided walk-through of each system’s components, showcased top products, and highlighted key advantages from the company.
