DDV ITC 2025 | Next-Generation Video Encoding & Decoding Demo

At ITC 2025, Delta Digital Video (DDV) showcased its latest video encoding and decoding technologies, built to deliver high-quality, low-latency video compression across airborne, ground, shipboard, and mobile telemetry environments.

George Nelson walked attendees through DDV’s next-generation system on chip platform supporting H.264, H.265 (HEVC), and JPEG-XS compression standards, enabling users to transmit high-resolution imagery with unmatched efficiency and reliability. This powerful architecture allows dual-channel, quad-channel, and single-channel OEM configurations, providing flexibility for real-time applications and seamless integration with wired or wireless networks.

Designed for mission-critical aerospace and defense operations, DDV’s encoders and decoders provide exceptional image fidelity, low latency, and secure transmission even in bandwidth-constrained environments. The demo highlighted how DDV’s technology delivers real-time video streaming and playback in support of flight test telemetry, ISR operations, and range monitoring applications.

Whether integrated for missions, flight test, or range video networks, DDV’s video encoding and decoding technology provides modular scalability and long-term interoperability for new and existing infrastructures. From flexible configurations to advanced compression algorithms, DDV continues to advance video distribution systems for aerospace and defense users worldwide.

Each ITC station was paired with an interactive touchscreen display designed to give attendees a deeper look into the technologies behind every demo. These touchscreens provided a guided walk-through of each system’s components, showcased top products, and highlighted key advantages from the company.
